Anora now odds-on to win Best Picture at the 2025 Oscars
The 97th Academy Awards takes place this weekend and betting markets are still offered with bookmakers on some of the biggest categories on the night.
None are bigger than the Best Picture award and it's Anora that leads the way in the odds list at 1/2 to win one of the most prestigious awards in cinema at the 2025 Oscars.
Anora won Best Picture at the Critics Choice awards on February 7 which instantly saw bookmakers across the board slash the movie's odds to win the Best Picture at the Academy Awards.
William Hill's latest market now gives an implied probability of 66.7% that Anora wins Best Picture on Sunday night in what looks like a competitive field.

Timothee Chalamet was the shock winner of the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role at last weekend's Screen Actors Guild Awards with the actor behind Adrien Brody in the market.
This weekend sees us in the same situation here with Chalamet second favourite to win Best Actor behind Adrien Brody with the odds putting the category as a two-horse race.
Brody is as short as 2/5 for his performance in The Brutalist with those odds suggesting a 71.4% chance that he is crowned winner of the award for the second time in his career.
