True Love won the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket and has since been placed in three Group 1 races the latest of which over course and distance she lost ground at the start which she never recovered as Thesecretadversary hung off the rails in front of her and bumped and inconvenienced Nighttime and Samangan outside her but kept closing potential gaps for True Love to come through until well into the last furlong by which time she could only claim 2nd place on the line. She should win with a more prominent position throughout.

STOLEN KISS has won six races from 5f to 7f fourth in a Group 1 race over 6f at Ascot course distance and going should suit and could well be able to win this race

With no dominant sprinter in Europe, this race looks wide open. It looks to be tactical, with a positive change of pace in the final two furlongs, which will favour the selection Rosy Affair for Boughey and Loughnane. My NAP for Sunday.

I suspect True Love will find 1300 metres too sharp, as she only really got going in the closing stages last time out over further. Stolen Kiss is the most improved runner in the line-up, but he is well found in the market. At double-figure odds, I'm prepared to give a chance to Take Charge Star, who produced a career-best effort when going very close in the Jersey Stakes last time out. He and Thesecretadversary pulled almost five lengths clear of the rest, with the latter getting first run and holding on by only a neck. Thesecretadversary went on to win the Group 1 Prix Jean Prat here last week, so the form has been strongly franked. Johnny Murtagh adds cheekpieces to the tongue-tie for a horse who looks to have been aimed at this contest since Royal Ascot. At around 11/1, he will carry my each-way hopes.

Only just behind today's favourite True Love when getting out run close to home Lto in the Group 1 Prix Jean Prat over 7f here @ Deauville. Drop back to this 6.5f a big plus, ran a big race in Commonwealth Cup @ Royal Ascot on prior run and top jockey/trainer combination makes current 16/1 solid Ew value here.

I think that there is value outside of the single-figure priced runners here. This could turn into a tactical affair, and Afandy is one of those that likes to be ridden prominently and has got a good turn of foot.

Looks a very big price for top connections. Soumillon rides this track very well and this runner should be going very close here.
