Danish Golf Championship Tips

Rasmus Hojgaard has been playing in the United States where his long hitting has been getting him birdies and eagles on the par fives and with 4 par 5s and two driveable par 4s on this course he should get in the top 6.

Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen finished 9th at the Open and has been playing in the US last week and returns to Denmark with every chance of being in the top 6 in his home tournament.

Jacob Skov Olesen had a stellar year as an Amateur in 2024 including 5th on home soil before turning Professional and in July this year was T6 in the Corales Puntacana Championship and could again be in the top six on home soil.

Thorbjorn Olesen returns to his home country Denmark after playing in the United States and he should be good enough to finish in the top six.

Ewen Ferguson has three DP World Tour titles already, which proves he knows how to cross the finish line in big moments. He also finished second in Denmark before, missing victory by just one stroke.

Is a very good player on the tour with multiple wins and a couple of comfortable finishes, so he can get on a roll with momentum.

Bernd Weisberger is a two time winner of this event. He won in 2019 and 2021. He has missed his last 2 cuts. He did finish 3rd in the BMW Internationl Open and 4th in the Austrian Alpine Open. He also won the Volvo China Open in April. Predict him to perform well in this event

Is a very consistent player and has had good finishes without winning, so not yet adding to his previous title.

Has shown glimpses of form recently and will look to maintain that form here as he attempts to win the title.

He is still seeking his first title despite having been close before. He will look to find some form here to challenge.

Sam Bairstow could well find this particular event a bit more suitable than his last event. Appeared to struggle on the course last time but, he did have good form before that. It's possible he'll find this particular course more suitable than the last.

Filippo Celli recently tied for fifteenth place at the Corales Puntacana Championship, which proves his ball striking is locked in right now. He also handles windy coastal courses well. I believe he has a solid chance to surprise everyone.

Risky tip so just a very small each-way tip for Angel Hidalgo, will need to find some improvement. One positive for his chances is that his long game has looked good in some recent events, that is likely to be a factor on this particular course.

Small each-way tip for Niklas Lemke to possibly make the top 6. Poor form and results his last few events, he'll be looking to bounce back. It's at least encouraging that he does have some decent form in the book when playing courses quite similar to this course.

After some very mixed form and results for Scott in his last few events, maybe now is the time he'll show some improvement and more motivation , he won't have been happy with some recent results. The form he was showing earlier this would give him a chance.

A former multiple Tour winner, he will look to recapture his old form here. He has shown glimpses recently, too.
