Return To Unit is too short here given his poor FlatStats rating and booking of S Bowen with his 3% SR (A/E 0.4) in C1-3 races. Spoken Truth must overcome Moyglare Stud's 8% SR (A/E 0.46) with runners carrying 9-4+, meanwhile the J Goldie yard form (2/44, A/E 0.33 over the past fortnight) puts Dwindling Funds up against it. Galyx looks a tad high in the handicap and (amazingly) N Currie has only had one ride at Hamilton previously, but I put up POINT OF CONTACT at Goodwood last week where he was withdrawn (unsure as to why) and I'm not going to desert him today. The son of Blue Point won on his penultimate start, coming at York over this trip where they went off like the clappers, but failed to back that up when stepping up to 10f at Sandown last month. He went close off marks of 87 and 88 last year, so I'm confident that the weight is no issue, and A Balding's phenomenal 49% SR (A/E 1.68) with fancied BP progeny boosts claims. 15/2 (4 places) taken.
