Three career runs for the 2yo. He was 3rd of 9 four weeks ago in a novice stakes, not getting to the front two at the finish but he saw the race out well. He was beaten by two 73+ rated runners and nothing of that calibre in this 57-64 rated handicap and an opening mark of 63 looks handy. I like the fact that in that last race he was very head strong for the first 2f and never settled and was probably better than the end result.

Crystal Kraken has been running consistently well and her latest second was a strong piece of form in the context of this field. That effort suggested she remains on the upgrade and, with further improvement likely, she can go one better and beat Dreams Galore.

Not the most resolute in a finish but overall form puts him bang there. Has the best draw, and may be able to build up enough of an early advantage that he can see race out to the end.

Won last time out and led for much of the race. Looked far better than rivals so I would expect the same tactics again in this race albeit one furlong shorter.

Our Fella was a good second in a C6 off a 64 on handicap debut last month and moved up just 1 lb but stepped up to C4 and was pants. He gets back to C6 today on a 64 again. Although at the back of the pack last time out, he will have come on for that run and is worth another shot.

Devon Angel was not far away when third off a 47 and just behind second placed Our Fella and my pick today has dropped to a 45 which I think could be worth an EW chance while still in a C6 0-65

DEFIANT DREAM has been placed in one race from three starts sixth over 6f at Chepstow on her latest outing last month dropped in trip to 5f should suit seems well treated and could well be able to win this race
