This is the strongest in the race. Won his Curragh maiden over 6f, then won the Railway Stakes over the same C&D. Beat Tribeca by 3 lengths in that Group 2. Has an OR of 112. Is trained by M. D. O'Callaghan and ridden by Oisin Murphy.

She was second of 11 at Wexford, beaten only 2¾ lengths on good ground. More importantly, she gets 10-11, receiving 7 lb from the male runners carrying 11-4. She also has previous point-to-point winning form.

This is the one that deserves attention. He's down to OR 66, but his recent RPRs include 88, which is considerably better than that mark suggests. He's also a previous course winner. The downside is reliability: his recent form is inconsistent.

He was second of 16 at Clonmel over 2m 3f on good ground in June, beaten only five lengths by Global Skies. He subsequently disappointed at Killarney, but that is precisely the sort of rebound scenario that gives some weight to him. He also gets a 7 lb claim.

This is the standout. She is only 2 lb higher than when winning at Leopardstown last time, and that victory was described as being achieved in the manner of a well-handicapped horse. Her recent sequence is also encouraging. The Tramore run is particularly useful because she was second despite the longer trip. Dropping back to a mile should suit her better.

This is the interesting one. Martymill's recent form reads: 4 - 6 - 6 - 2 - 6. That looks ordinary at first glance, but the second was a much stronger piece of form. Racing Post gives him a 109 RPR, comfortably the highest figure in this field, and notes that the Galway sixth came in a stronger contest. There he was sixth in a field of 16, while today's race has only six runners. He may find this easier than the big-field Galway race.
